Technical Print Data Check

With our technical print data check, we ensure that your print files meet production requirements and can be processed smoothly.

Scope of Review:

One file is checked per ordered print data check.

The following criteria are reviewed:

File Format

  • PDF/X-4 (ISO 15930-7)

Color Space & Color Profile

  • CMYK color space
  • Standard color profile PrintWide 2020™

Final Format & Bleed

  • Final format according to order specifications
  • 5 mm bleed on all sides
  • Bleed correctly integrated in the document
  • No crop marks, registration marks, or other printer’s marks

Image Resolution

  • Minimum 150 dpi (Recommended: 300 dpi at 1:1 scale)
  • Vector data correctly set up

Fonts & Embedding

  • All fonts fully embedded or converted to outlines
  • All images fully embedded

Die-Cut Paths

  • Set up as a separate spot color
  • Die-cut paths set to overprint

Service Limitation:

The print data check includes technical verification only.

The following are not included:

  • Spell checking
  • Content review
  • Layout evaluation
  • Artwork review
  • Design consultation

Important Notes:

The technical print data check is an optional, paid add-on service.

If no check is ordered, the submitted print files will be forwarded directly to production without further review.

If multiple files are uploaded but only one check is ordered, please specify in the comment field which file should be reviewed. Without clear assignment, delivery time may be extended.
