POS Displays in Animal Shapes

The animal-shaped POS displays combine product presentation with three-dimensional design. The distinctive animal shapes are created from interlocking paperboard elements, forming open compartments and shelves for products, promotional materials, information materials, books, toys, souvenirs or decorations.

Depending on their size, the animal displays can be used as floor displays or placed on existing presentation surfaces. The designs are particularly suitable for companies and organisations whose products, themes or campaigns are related to animals, nature, the environment or themed experiences.

Construction and Assembly

The individual elements are cut from 3 mm solid board and slotted together to form a three-dimensional animal shape. The construction is stabilised by the interaction of the cross and longitudinal elements. At the same time, compartments of different sizes are created for product presentation.

Unlike constructions made from corrugated board, the solid board used has compact, closed cut edges. This creates a clean edge appearance without a visible corrugated structure.

The POS displays are delivered flat-packed and individually packaged. For assembly, the paperboard elements are simply slotted together without tools or additional fasteners. The compact pack size facilitates storage, shipping and transport to the place of use.

Applications

The animal-shaped POS displays are suitable for retail spaces, promotional areas and spatial presentations. Their shape and compartment structure combine decorative design with functional product presentation.

Typical applications include:

• Zoos, wildlife parks and aquariums
• Pet shops and pet supply stores
• Manufacturers and retailers of pet food or pet accessories
• Museums, natural history centres and visitor centres
• Toy, book and souvenir shops
• Theme parks and visitor attractions
• Trade fairs, events and promotional campaigns
• Pop-up stores and shop-in-shop areas
• Shop windows and seasonal retail areas
• Exhibitions, educational projects and information campaigns

Depending on their size, the compartments can be filled with products, packaging, brochures, books, figures or decorative items.

Material and Standard Versions

The unprinted POS displays are made from 3 mm KROMA® Natural White or KROMA® Kraft. The following options are available:

• Natural brown display board with brown surfaces and light-coloured cut edges
• Natural white display board with smooth surfaces suitable for customisation

The material construction provides high stability while maintaining a comparatively low weight. The displays are intended for use in dry indoor environments and should not be permanently exposed to moisture or very high humidity.

Custom-Printed POS Displays

For individual brand and campaign presentations, we manufacture the animal displays from white KROMA® Displayboard on request and print them according to customer-supplied artwork. Colours, designs and graphic elements can be adapted to the respective corporate design, product or event concept.

Printing, quantities and technical implementation are agreed on a project-specific basis. The specific minimum order quantity depends on the animal shape, printing requirements and selected version.

Custom Sizes and Large-Format Animal Displays

Alternative sizes can be requested from a project-dependent minimum order quantity of at least ten units. We assess technical feasibility based on the required animal shape, dimensions, load requirements and quantity.

We have already produced large-format elephant and rhino displays as load-bearing sales displays made from sturdy honeycomb panels. These custom constructions are suitable for larger promotional areas, shop windows, events and individual POS concepts.

Material and Recycling

The animal displays are made predominantly from paper fibre-based materials and contain no plastic components in the standard version. They are recyclable – subject to local recycling regulations.

For custom-printed versions, we use KROMA® Displayboard. Depending on the version, the display board is FSC®- or PEFC-certified, PVC-free and recyclable – subject to local recycling regulations.
