POS Displays in Animal Shapes

Animal-shaped POS displays combine product presentation with three-dimensional design. Their distinctive animal outlines are created from interlocking paperboard elements. This creates open compartments and display surfaces for products, promotional materials, information materials, books, toys, souvenirs or decorations.

Depending on their size, the animal displays can be used as floor displays or placed on existing display surfaces. The designs are particularly suitable for companies and organisations whose products, themes or campaigns relate to animals, nature, the environment or experiential settings.

Construction and Assembly

The individual elements are cut from 3 mm solid board and assembled to form a three-dimensional animal figure. The construction is stabilised by the interaction of the crosswise and lengthwise elements. At the same time, compartments of different sizes are created for product presentation.

Unlike constructions made from corrugated paperboard, the solid board used has compact, closed cut edges. This creates a clean edge appearance without a visible corrugated structure.

The POS displays are supplied flat-packed and individually packaged. For assembly, the paperboard elements are slotted together without tools or additional fastening materials. The compact packaging dimensions make storage, shipping and transport to the place of use easier.

Animal-shaped POS displays are suitable for sales areas, promotional spaces and spatial installations. Their shape and compartment structure combine decoration with functional product presentation.

Materials and Standard Versions

The unprinted POS displays are made from 3 mm KROMA® Natural White or KROMA® Kraft board. The following options are available:

• Natural brown display board with brown surfaces and light-coloured cut edges
• Natural white display board with smooth surfaces that are easy to customise

The material construction provides high stability at a comparatively low weight. The displays are intended for dry indoor environments and should not be exposed to moisture or very high humidity for extended periods.

Custom-Printed POS Displays

For individual brand and campaign presentations, we manufacture the animal displays from white KROMA® Displayboard on request and print them using customer-supplied artwork. Colours, designs and graphic elements can be adapted to the relevant corporate design, product or event concept.

The print version, quantity and technical implementation are coordinated on a project-by-project basis. The specific minimum order quantity depends on the animal shape, printing method and required version.

Custom Sizes and Large-Format Animal Displays

Custom sizes can be requested from a project-dependent minimum order quantity of at least ten units. We assess technical feasibility based on the desired animal shape, dimensions, load requirements and quantity.

We have already produced elephant and rhinoceros displays in large-format versions as load-bearing sales displays made from sturdy honeycomb board. Such custom constructions are suitable for larger promotional areas, shop windows, events and individual POS concepts.

Materials and Recycling

The animal displays are made predominantly from paper fibre-based materials and, in their standard version, contain no plastic components. After use, they can be recycled with waste paper.

For custom-printed versions, we use KROMA® Displayboard. Depending on the version, the display board is FSC® or PEFC certified, PVC-free and fully recyclable.
