Product Description

The paperboard pendant light is a suspended ceiling light featuring a sculptural lampshade made from 3 mm display board (solid paperboard). Offset paperboard elements create its organic shape while producing an even and pleasant lighting effect.

As standard, the lampshade is manufactured from natural brown display board. A custom-printed version is available for companies, hotels, restaurants, offices, retail stores and events.

The lampshade is supplied as the basic version. A matching lamp holder, cable and LED light bulb can be ordered separately as optional accessories.

Custom-Printed Paperboard Pendant Light

The printed version transforms the paperboard pendant light into part of a company's brand communication. It is particularly suitable for hotels, restaurants, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition stands and events.

Material and Construction

The lampshade is made from 3 mm display board (solid paperboard). Unlike corrugated paperboard, the material has no visible fluted structure. Its compact construction provides excellent dimensional stability and clean-cut edges.

In the natural brown version, the brown surfaces contrast with the light-coloured, smooth material edges. This highlights the individual layers of the lampshade and emphasises the natural appearance of the material.

The lampshade consists predominantly of paper fibre-based material. Electrical components are supplied separately and can be removed after use so that the paperboard shade and electrical parts can be disposed of and recycled through the appropriate waste streams.

Shape and Lighting Effect

The overlapping paperboard elements create an open, organic shape. Light is emitted between the individual layers and reflected by the surfaces and light-coloured material edges.

The multi-layer construction shields the light source from direct view from many angles. The actual brightness, colour temperature and dimmability depend on the LED light bulb used as well as the installation height and room conditions.

Versions and Accessories

Natural Brown Paperboard Pendant Light

The standard version is manufactured from natural brown display board with light-coloured material edges. It is ideal for interiors where the authentic appearance of the material is intended to remain visible.

Custom-Printed Paperboard Pendant Light

The paperboard pendant light is also available in a custom-printed version made from white display board, starting from just one unit. All pendant lights are manufactured to order.

For the printed version, all lampshade components are printed on both sides using the customer's artwork. The material edges remain light or white. Multiple artwork designs can easily be combined within the same order.

Optional Accessories

The lampshade can be ordered without electrical components or together with matching accessories. Depending on the selected configuration, the lamp holder, cable and LED light bulb are available separately.

Installation and Use

The lampshade is supplied fully assembled. When ordering the basic version, the lamp holder, cable, ceiling connection and light bulb are not included.

The paperboard pendant light is designed for use with a suitable E27 suspension fitting and an approved LED light bulb. Installation and connection to the electrical supply must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable local regulations.

The pendant light is intended exclusively for use in dry indoor environments. It is not recommended for outdoor use, wet rooms or areas with permanently high humidity.
