Paperboard Bed for Events and Temporary Accommodation

The foldable paperboard bed is a sturdy and space-saving sleeping solution for businesses, event organisers and institutions. The pre-assembled construction made from natural brown solid paperboard can be set up in just a few simple steps and requires no separate slatted bed base.

Weighing approximately 14 kg and with a compact packed size of just 120 × 980 × 430 mm, the bed is easy to transport and can be stored space-efficiently when not in use. It is particularly suitable for events, temporary accommodation, additional sleeping capacity and flexible-use spaces.

Flexible Sleeping Solution for Businesses and Organisations

The paperboard bed is ideal wherever temporary or recurring additional sleeping capacity is required. Thanks to its foldable construction, even larger quantities can be transported efficiently, assembled quickly and stored again after use.

The bed is designed exclusively for dry indoor environments with a level floor.

Assembly

The bed is supplied pre-assembled and folded flat. We recommend assembly by two people:

• One person holds the centre support firmly in place.
• The second person slowly and evenly pulls out the foot end.
• Once the central opening has reached the required length, insert the first spacer tube.
• Repeat the process at the head end and insert the second spacer tube.
• Finally, place the mattress on top.

The bed is then ready for immediate use. No tools or separate slatted bed base are required.

Before lifting, moving or transporting the bed, it must always be folded completely to prevent damage to the structure.

Natural Brown, White or Custom Printed

The standard version is manufactured from unprinted natural brown solid paperboard. The brown surfaces and smooth light-coloured edges emphasise the fibre-based character of the material.

On request, the bed can also be manufactured from white solid paperboard and custom printed. This allows it to be adapted to corporate branding, event concepts or branded environments. Company logos, sponsor graphics, room numbers and different designs within the same project can all be realised.

Material and Recycling

The bed is manufactured from sturdy PEFC-certified solid paperboard in Germany. It contains no plastic components and can be recycled through the paper recycling stream after use.

Thanks to its dense, rigid structure and smooth closed material edges, the solid paperboard is significantly more resistant to moisture than conventional corrugated board. The surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth if required.

The bed is designed for indoor use only. Prolonged outdoor use, permanently high humidity and direct contact with standing water should be avoided.
